Out-of-Door Academy sixth-grader Hayley Wahl was an inspirational quotation winner of the Embracing Our Differences Contest exhibit on the bayfront in Sarasota.
More than 4,500 entries from 53 countries and 40 states were received, and Wahl’s was one of the few selected.
She will be honored at a reception April 24, at the Ringling College of Art and Design.
The exhibit runs through May 28.
