The Colony Beach & Tennis Association board has recommended the Broomfield, Co.-based Quintess/Club Holdings LLC to redevelop the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort.

Board President Jay Yablon wrote in an email to Colony unit owners that the selection process began last October, when the board hired Joel Rosen, of Horwath HTL, to assist owners in finding a redevelopment partner.

“We extensively reviewed, refined and competitively negotiated these proposals, gradually winnowed the field, conducted careful due diligence, and spent this past weekend with the entire Board and Joel together reaching the final decision to recommend Club Holdings,” Yablon wrote.

The board will soon hold a meeting for unit owners, during which Quintess/Club Holdings LLC officials will discuss their plan with unit owners. At least 75% of unit owners must approve the plan.
