Manatee students rally for leadership

More than 500 of Manatee County's middle and high school students will rally Saturday to learn about leadership during the Career and Technical Student Organization's 10th Annual Fall Leadership Rally at Braden River High School.

The event is designed to promote and develop student leadership skills. Organizations represented at the event will include the Future Builders of America, Future Business Leaders of America, the Technology Student Association and more.

Featured guest speaker will be Amy Gallimore, director of leadership for TRI Leadership/Resources, LLC., a company dedicated to helping individuals and organizations win.

The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
