+ Daiquiri Deck owners make the cut for opening
Daiquiri Deck co-owners Troy Spyrett and Russell Matthes made a vow in January not to shave until the opening of their new restaurant on St. Armands Circle. But, now, they’ve made the cut: At the soft opening of the new location two weekends ago, they got a shave from master barber Karen Gourley, of JustGents. The new restaurant is located at the former Hemingway’s Restaurant location, 325 John Ringling Blvd., and is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily. The Siesta Key location at 5250 Ocean Blvd. remains open.
