+ Anonymous donors pledge $1 million
Two anonymous donors have pledged $1 million to Mote Marine Laboratory to fund various initiatives over the next four years.

According to a prepared statement, the donors recently gave their first portion of the pledge, which will be used to support a post-doctoral fellowship program at Mote in addition to red-tide research and outreach efforts.
