Manatee County commissioners to meet

The Manatee County Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday will consider a new ordinance to regulate the travel of commercial traffic on certain county-maintained roadways.

Among other topics being discussed or considered are renovations to the Manatee Civic Center and a request by the Town of Longboat Key for funding.

The meeting will be held at 9 a.m., Aug. 23 in the first-floor chambers of the county’s administrative building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
