Tower Residences condo sells for $4 million

A condominium in Tower Residences tops all real-estate transactions from April 11 to April 15. Donald Carter, of Dallas, sold his Unit 1803 condominium at 35 Watergate Drive to Michael and Karen Valentino, of Sarasota, for $4 million. Built in 2003, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 4,668 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.31 million in 2003.

Crescent Siesta

BVG Crescent Beach Ltd. sold the Unit AN-502 condominium at 6512 Midnight Pass Road to Lorne and Mary Liechty and Kevin and Brenda McGinnis, of Dallas, for $1.72 million. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,143 square feet of living area.

Siesta Dunes Beach
Robert and Carol Kowalewski and Robert M. Kowalewski, of Grand Rapids, Mich., sold their Unit 402 condominium at 6234 Midnight Pass Road to Thomas Sprague and Laurie Anderson, of Mansfield, Mass., for $950,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $436,000 in 1995.

Bay Island Shores
Brian and Tracey Quimby, of Nokomis, sold their home at 638 Siesta Drive to Michael Kneeland and Roxzene Hunter, of Stamford, Conn., for $855,000. Built in 1995, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,384 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2 million in 2006.

Island House
Pamela Levine and Mary Hock, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 1-N condominium at 6144 Midnight Pass Road to George and Wendy Babits, of Ontario, Canada, for $825,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,376 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.22 million in 2005.

Palm Bay Club of Sarasota
Van Ausdall & Farrar Inc. sold the Unit G-63 condominium at 5966 Midnight Pass Road to Kevin and Linda Koontz, of Bethlehem, Pa., for $730,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 990 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $46,500 in 1970.

Siesta Villas I
Edward and Kathleen Kellerman, of Orchard Park, N.Y., sold their Unit A condominium at 436 Canal Road to Dakshesh and Apexa Patel, of Fort Wayne, Ind., for $650,000. Built in 2002, it has two bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,756 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $760,000 in 2009.

Fisherman’s Cove
Jean Henze, trustee, sold the Unit A313 condominium at 8900 Blind Pass Road to Joan and Mary Fowler, of Alexandria, Va., for $400,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 969 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $127,500 in 1987.

Point of Rocks
Capital One NA sold the home at 7133 Point of Rocks Circle to Kevin and Jeanne Kane, of Annandale, N.J., for $385,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,480 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $200,000 in 1998.

Excelsior Beach to Bay
Robert Droessler sold his Unit 309 condominium at 6285 Midnight Pass Road to Christopher and Megan Powers, of Harrison, Wis., for $350,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,401 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $420,000 in 2001.

Midnight Cove II
Robert and Patricia Gentner, of Erie, N.Y., sold their Unit 820 condominium at 1200 Midnight Cove II Place to Paul and Robin Casey, of Succasunna, N.J., for $350,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths and 860 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $225,000 in 2000.

La Siesta
Kenneth and Mary Norton, of Feeding Hills, Mass., sold their Unit 221 condominium at 915 Beach Road to Kevin and Beth Miller, of Troy, Ohio, for $260,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 940 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $42,000 in 1977.

SARASOTA
McClellan Park

Frank and Elizabeth Breuer, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2140 Oval Drive to Clifford Hund and Isa Moeller ,of Corning, N.Y., for $1.5 million. Built in 1948, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,626 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $225,000 in 1997.

100 Central
J. Manuel Calvo, of Sarasota, sold his Unit F-712 condominium at 100 Central Ave. to S. Philip and Suzanne Bralow, of Sarasota, for $525,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,532 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $492,000 in 2005.

PALMER RANCH
Silver Oak

Douglas and Jacqueline Shear, trustees, Cincinnati, sold the home at 8959 Wildlife Loop to Paul and Katie Szafarcyk, trustees, Sarasota, for $715,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,233 square feet of living area.

Turtle Rock
Robert Allegra, trustee, sold the home at 5125 Far Oak Circle to William Newell, of Sarasota, for $348,300. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,633 square feet of living area.

Villa D’Este at Prestancia
Patricia Dogan, of Portsmouth, N.H., sold her home at 7355 Villa D’Este Drive to Michael and Melinda Loefgren, of Verona, Wis., for $344,000. Built in 1988, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 3,183 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $559,000 in 2005.

Huntington Pointe
Elizabeth Smith, trustee, sold the home at 4245 Hearthstone Drive to Edward and B. Jane Hooey, of Toronto, for $320,000. Built in 1993, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,570 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $196,300 in 1993.

OSPREY
Oaks II

LiveOaks Inc. sold the home at 450 Mac Ewen Drive to Joyce Comber, of Osprey, for $630,000. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,088 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $515,000 in 1999.

Baypointe Vista I
BV401 LLC sold the Unit 401 condominium at 236 Hidden Bay Drive to Russell and Debra Bucci, of Osprey, for $360,000. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,100 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $495,000 in 2003.

Bishopscourt Townhomes
W. Peter and Joyce Comber, of Osprey, sold their Unit 117 condominium at 25 Bishops Court Road to LiveOaks Inc. for $255,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,678 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2010.
