San Remo home sells for $1.7 million

A home in San Remo Estates tops all real-estate transactions from Aug. 3 to Aug. 9. REPH V LLC sold the home at 1502 Siesta Drive to C. Beth Cotner and John Alogna, trustees, for $1.75 million. Built in 2006, it has five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,160 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3 million in 2007.

Gary and Maureen Hoyt, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1408 Cedar Bay Lane to Derek and Silke Cuff, of Sarasota, for $815,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,874 square feet of living area.

Aqualane Estates
Chewy Holdings LLC sold the home at 6022 Hollywood Blvd. to Gary and Maureen Hoyt, of Sarasota, for $325,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,457 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in February.

South Gate
Louis Salvatori and Kim Weitershausen, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3444 Jaffa Drive to Edward and Lesa Stroop, of Sarasota, for $275,000. Built in 1956, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,131 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $102,000 in 1999.

Gulf Gate East
U.S. Bank NA, trustee, sold the home at 3871 Easton St. to Woodrow and Nancy Johnson, of Sarasota, for $236,800. Built in 1985, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,161 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $469,000 in 2006.

Stanley and Patricia Briggs, of Waynesville, N.C., sold their home at 2247 Pine View Circle to Michael Alberti, trustee, for $230,000. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,961 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $158,000 in 1999.

William and Joan Kimble, trustees, sold the Unit 302 condominium at 6236 Midnight Pass Road to Scott Smith and Kelly Smith, trustees, for $360,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,150 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $470,000 in 2003.

OHCC LLC sold the home at 8540 Heron Lagoon Circle to Heron Lagoon SCI LLC for $700,000. Built in 1949, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,964 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $174,800 in 2002.

HSBC Bank USA NA sold the home at 651 Avenida Del Norte to Kristine Kingsbury, of Canton, Ohio, for $404,000. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,736 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $80,000 in 1994.
