More judges needed for history fair

More than 1,700 students are entered in this year’s Manatee County History Fair, which will be held Nov. 17 at the Manatee Convention and Civic Center.

Event sponsors, the Historical Resources Division of the Manatee County Clerk of Court and Comptroller and the Manatee County Historical Commission, are looking for 100 more judges to help with the event.

Judging will be from 9 a.m. to noon, Nov. 17, at the civic center. A brief training session will be held at 8 p.m., prior to judging.
