+ Hunter DUI trial under way
The trial of former Braden River High School football coach Josh Hunter, out on bond on a DUI manslaughter charge, was slated to begin this week with jury selection starting May 10.

His brother, James Hunter, has been jailed since April 27 after a judge found him guilty of civil contempt for refusing to say if his brother was driving the pickup truck that killed Braden River High School assistant football coach Doug Garrity in a crash in Nokomis in March 2009.

Local attorneys say the trial could be postponed because of James Hunter’s refusal to speak.
