+ Lilly Pulitzer event will benefit Save Our Seabirds
Lilly Pulitzer, 355 St. Armands Circle, will hold a “Shop & Share” event Wednesday, April 28 to benefit Save Our Seabirds. Of the sales for the day, 10% will be donated to the bird-rescue facility. Additionally, customers who spend $200 or more will receive a limited-edition printed wine bag. The day will commence with cocktails and sweets from 6 to 8 p.m. Call 388-4004.

+ Circle’s Café Galante now under new ownership
Faez and Dee Dee Khayyata became the new owners of Café Galante, 419 St. Armands Circle, March 1.

The Khayyatas discovered the café during a visit in December. While dining, they struck up a conversation with the previous owner, Ikbal Joseph. Dee Dee Khayyata casually commented that the restaurant would be perfect for them, and the rest was history.

The Khayyatas serve Mediterranean, American and Italian cuisine in a casual atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.
