The Junior League of Sarasota held their second “Meet & Greet” event of the summer on Saturday, June 9, at its headquarters. Nearly 30 women attended the event, which served as a recruitment opportunity for the organization. JLS is currently looking for women to join its 2016-2017 new member class that will ultimately consist of 50 members.

This year’s signature focus is hunger, so JLS has partnered with All Faiths Food Bank to serve those who are suffering from food insecurity. So far, they've given 100 slow cookers to people in need.
