Season of Sharing total reaches $1.6 million

With community contributors giving more than $1.1 million to the 2011-2012 Season of Sharing, the initiative has won a gift of $500,000 from The Patterson Foundation, for a total of $1.6 million, as of Feb. 9, the Community Foundation of Sarasota County announced.
