Roadwork updates for week of Oct. 2

Construction and maintenance projects continue on Interstate 75, U.S. 301, U.S. 41, state Route 789, state Route 758, state Route 72 and state Route 681. New projects start on county Road 775, county Road 789, state Route 72 and U.S. 41.

City of Sarasota civilian volunteers are lining the streets this morning, helping motorists figure out how to pay for their parking spaces. This morning, a volunteer helped a man pay for his space on Main Street, just south of U.S. 301.
