The Bird Key home at 667 Mourning Dove Drive sold for $4.95 million - the largest sale on the island since January 2008, when the home at 643 Mourning Dove Drive sold for $6.9 million.

A condominium in The Tower Residences tops all real-estate transactions from June 13 to June 17. Michael and Karen Valentino, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 1203 condominium at 35 Watergate Drive to Sally Yanowitz, trustee, for $2.25 million. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,985 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.85 million in 2003.
