Town water receives top scores

All 151 water samples taken in 2008 were bacteria free. Town water also has acceptable levels of copper and lead.

Key property values drop again

For the second, consecutive year, taxable values on Longboat Key dropped 10%. Sarasota County is down 10.4%, and Manatee County values dropped 10.5%.
