PHOTO OF THE DAY: Where's the fire?

There was no emergency at Town Hall, 501 Bay Isles Road, this morning. But it looked like one, with three ambulances and a fire truck lining the north side of the road. Longboat Key firefighter/paramedics were using the Town Commission chambers to hold a training session and parked the emergency vehicles there in case they had to respond to a call.

Following tradition at Casa del Mar, a member of the Ryan family is always the Easter Bunny. This year, wearing the bright pink bunny suit was Ed Ryan Jr. The Easter Bunny always gets a warm welcome, because the youngsters know once he arrives, the Easter egg hunt is about to begin.
