There was green beer, gig dancing and bagpipe playing at Lynches Pub and Grub for Saint Patrick's Day on Saturday, March 17. Starting shortly after they opened for business, the pub was packed with the Irish and those pretending to be. Traditional corned beef and Sheppard's pie was served while dancers from Sarasota Irish Dance Academy performed.

Bird Key Yacht Club hosts to the Leprechauns, Lads and Lassies of Bird Key Bird Key Yacht Club members were welcomed into the club with traditional Celtic tunes played on a bagpipe on St. Patrick's Day. After a few drinks, the dancers of Sarasota Irish Dance Academy put on a performance.
