PHOTO GALLERY: Zombie Pub Crawl

A Zombie walks into a bar. Actually, hundreds of zombies filled Gulf Gate area bars for the annual Zombie Pub Crawl on Saturday, Oct. 20. Sarasotans don't be weary, they were only costumes. People really got into the spirit of things and covered themselves in fake blood, guts and even prosthetic hands. There were zom-bees, zombie UPS men, sombie Elvis, zombie Sonny and Cher and even some normal-looking people dressed as sombie bait - there were zombies and fake blood everywhere. 'What do we want? Brains!' read one zombie's protest sign. And brains they got - via a brain eating contest. It was a fun evening with no zombie survivors, and can only be remembered with these photos and feint traces of fake blood.
