The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund distributed $68,402 in grants at its 2013 Grant Awards Oct. 15. At Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, Colonel John W. Dog lovers came together Saturday Oct. 19 to run for a cause at the 2nd Annual Doggie Bones 5K Run and Walk. Families and their dogs dressed in costume for the 5K Run, kid dashes and 1 mile walk. All proceeds benefited Nate's Honor Animal Rescue.
