Sand arrives at eroded North Shore Road beach access

The town began placing 600 cubic yards of sand Tuesday at the North Shore Road beach access to protect the road and utilities in the area. The sand cost the town $12,000.

Dec. 15 Safe and secure 8:50 p.m. - 500 block of Kingfisher Lane. Suspicious Circumstance. A woman reported a suspicious pickup truck leaving the area. Police responded and could not find the truck but found an unlocked sliding-glass door at a nearby residence. Nothing was stolen and the house was secured.
