Those looking to clean off their shelves and refresh their reading selection before summer can stop by Longboat Library.

The community library is currently seeking book donations, particularly in fiction published within the last 10 years.

While there, visitors can sign up for a membership or pick up a book from the sale section.

Starting May 1, the library will be switching to its summer hours of 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Stop by 555 Bay Isles Road or call 941-383-2011 with questions.
