A Gulf-front estate in the Sandy Hook neighborhood of Siesta Key has hit the market for $15.5 million. The five-bedroom house spans more than 5,100 square feet, and the property sits on an acre with private beach access.

Among the highlights, according to a statement, are the connections between interior and exterior, with balconies accompanying each bedroom, outdoor terraces, a poolside theater, dual fireplaces, outdoor kitchen and fire pit.

Professionally designed tropical landscape valued at over $1 million surrounds the property, including Bermuda grass, palm trees and bamboo. Advanced irrigation and mosquito misting systems have been installed to simplify upkeep.

The estate is owned by Sheri Dwyer, according to Sarasota County property records. She purchased the house for $4.9 million in 2015.

Built in 2003, the estate was fully renovated and remodeled in 2019, according to a statement from Douglas Elliman Real Estate, which is handling the listing
