A third arrest has been made in a fatal shooting last fall at Twin Lakes Park, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said.
The most recent man taken into custody is Jonathan Vivar, 18, of Bradenton. He was arrested on Friday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
20-year-old Carlos Romero-Tomas of Palmetto was arrested in February in connection with the case. In January, a teen from Bradenton was also charged.
According to the sheriff’s office, shots were fired Nov. 3 at an after-hours party at the park on Clark Road, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old. Another person was wounded.
Vivar was charged with homicide murder: dangerous depraved without premeditation in the death of Eric Santana-Santana. He is in the Sarasota County jail. Another person was wounded in the November shooting.
Romero-Tomas was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, making a false police report and firing a weapon in public. The teenager was also charged with weapons violations.
