Lakewood Ranch's Dave Terricciano showed off the different features of his 1956 Ford Thunderbird to anyone who passed by at the Classic Car Show Jan. 3 at Main Street at Lakewood Ranch.

Terricciano said he loves the design of cars from the 1950s. His favorite feature on his Thunderbird is the porthole window.

Terricciano's Thunderbird was among dozens of classic cars that lined Lakewood Main Street for the monthly show.

The Preserve at Tara's Gregg Gumta showed off his 1975 black and gray Corvette. He said he enjoys driving the 1975 Corvette more than the other eight cars he owns, which include two Corvettes, three Mustangs, a Thunderbird and two Camaros.

Gumta said it's fun seeing people's reactions to the cars.

"On occasion, you see something you've never seen before," he said of the cars at the event.
