Goodwill Manasota honors community ambassadors during annual luncheon

In a sold out event, Goodwill Manasota honored six individuals during its Community Ambassador of the Year Awards luncheon Oct. 12 at Michael's On East. 

About 175 attendees came to celebrate winners of the awards, which recognized advocates and leaders in the areas of veterans services, philanthropy and community partnership. 

This year's honorees were: 

• Rob Kehs, president, SRQ Vets
• Bill Isaac, chairman, Sarasota Private Trust Co.
• John Hart, CEO, Sarasota Private Trust Co.
• Howard Milstein, chairman, president and CEO, New York Private Bank & Trust Co.
• Tom Waters, president and CEO, Easterseals Southwest Florida
• Dora Talamantes, Goodwill Manasota team member and recipient of the Robert W. Rosinsky Achievement Award Recipient.
