The ballroom was packed Nov. 16 at Michael's On East to celebrate Larry Thompson, president of the Ringling College of Art and Design, as he received the American Jewish Committee West Coast of Florida’s National Legacy of Leadership Award.

Thompson, who was recognized for his professional and personal accomplishments, has been a longtime supporter of AJC.

Gala attendees also heard from keynote speaker Laura Shaw Frank, director of AJC’s William Petschek Contemporary Jewish Life Department.

Drs. Joel and Gail Morganroth, Deb Kabinoff and Michael and Marcy Klein chaired the dinner honoring Thompson.

AJC is an international advocacy organization for Jewish people, that engages in education, policymaking and community building across the world.
