Opera aficionados gathered to learn about highlights of the Sarasota Opera's 2023-24 season at its annual Curtain Raiser dinner Nov. 5 at the Sarasota Yacht Club.Â
After a cocktail hour that made the most of the yacht club's bayfront views, the 100 people in attendance enjoyed performances by Sarasota Opera principals and studio artists.Â
Artistic Director Victor DeRenzi and General Director Richard Russell also shared what operagoers can look forward to this season before guests enjoyed a three-course meal.
