23-year-old Bradenton man dies in Rosedale accident

A 23-year-old Bradenton man died in a one-car crash Friday evening when his car hit a tree at 87th Street East and 52nd Avenue East.

The Florida Highway Patrol report said the man, who was alone in the vehicle, was driving north at 6:12 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve, veered to the left and collided with a tree.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

FHP did not identify the man or the type of vehicle he was driving. The report said he was not wearing a seat belt. The crash remains under investigation.
