Photo by Nancy GuthIn addition to getting to meet fellow music-lovers and enjoy a top-notch meal, guests at the Sarasota Orchestra’s second Masterworks series dinner Nov. 29 at Art Ovation Hotel also got a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming concert.
Brian Hersh, CEO of the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County, led a discussion with Johannes Debus, who guest conducted the orchestra’s second Masterworks performance of the season, “The Scottish.”
To patron's delight, principal percussionist Marcelina Suchocka also thrilled the crowd with a performance that gave them a taste of the concert running Dec. 2-3.
