Florida Center for Early Childhood hosts Luminous Tide winter gala

Just as the tide illuminates its surroundings, children also have an innate ability to shine when properly nurtured. It was this sentiment that led to the Florida Center for Early Childhood's 36th annual winter gala's "A Luminous Tide" theme.

Guests gathered Dec. 1 at Michael's On East to support the work of the nonprofit, which runs programming for children covering everything from mental health services and developmental therapies to preschool and court assistance.

Chairing the event this year were Rochelle and August Curley and Jen and Bob Keller.

In addition to fundraising opportunities from both live and silent auctions, after dinner guests took to the dance floor to dance to the sounds of the Ovation Band.
