Friends of the Sarasota Ballet celebrate Mardi Gras

Carnival at Mardi Gras was hosted Feb. 25 at the Hyatt Regency Boathouse.

Friends of the Sarasota Ballet celebrated Mardi Gras at the Hyatt Regency Boathouse Feb. 25.

Carnival at Mardi Gras brought New Orleans tradition to the party, with festive food, wine, beads and masks and music by "Skip's Dixie Mix."

There were also baskets available to win if your chance raffle ticket was lucky enough to be drawn.

To conclude the night, guests danced the night away on the dance floor with the band.
