Van Wezel hosts rowing championship

Sarasota bid farewell to World Rowing Championship visitors on Sept. 30 with a concert at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center. 

The World Rowing Championship teamed up with Sarasota Bayfront Planning Organization to put on Sunset by the Bay, a free concert and community event. 

Community members and visitors gathered at the music venue for a concert and performances by Yesterdayze and the West Coast Black Theatre Troupe.
