1 — Former Riverview wide receiver Richie James, now a rising junior at Middle Tennessee State, was named Pro Football Focus’ top returning wide receiver in the country on July 8.

2 — Former Cardinal Mooney basketball player Antonio Blakeney had 23 points and eight rebounds in the Chicago Bulls summer league team’s 82-73 win on July 11 against Washington.

3 —  Recent Riverview graduate Austin Katz was named to the U.S. swimming roster for the World University Games on July 10. Katz will compete in the men’s 200 backstroke.

4 — Recent Booker graduate Eunique Arnold announced July 6 that he will play basketball for Indian River State College in the fall.

5 — Riverview football rising senior Jamar Johnson released his top-seven schools on July 7. The list includes Power Five schools Wake Forest, Purdue, Iowa State and Virginia Tech.
