Early risers were awarded with a delectable brunch buffet — complete with Phil Mancini-led omelet bar — at the fifth annual Eight over 80 event on Feb. 26 at Michael’s On East.
The event was put on by Aviva (Jewish Housing Council Foundation) and honored Bob Bartner, Shirley Fein, Sydney Goldstein, Ron Greenbaum, Joelle and Jerry Hamovit, Nancy and Phil Kotler, Arnold Schamban* and Ed Winnick, who were all awarded for making "wonderful things happen in our community," says Scott Anderson.
It was a record-breaking year for the event, which had a turnout of 400 guests.
