With festive mask centerpieces and purple and green lights, the ballroom of Michael’s On East was transformed into a Mardi Gras haven on Feb. 25 for Bethesda House’s Mardi Gras Madness.

The evening began with a cocktail hour during which George Luther played the piano as guests mingled. Later, CEO OF Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. Peter Routsis-Arroyo and Bishop of the Diocese of Venice Frank Dewane spoke to the crowd. Guests were able to bid on silent auction items as well as participate in a Big Easy Live Auction and Fat Tuesday Wine Pull. Some party-goers even donned their best Mardi Gras masks in hopes of winning the mask contest.
