Casa Del Mar guests enjoy a hoppy Easter

The resort hosted its annual Easter egg hunt on April 16.

There wasn’t an inch of grass that went unnoticed April 16 on the front lawn of Casa Del Mar Beach Resort.

The Easter celebration began when resort guests were greeted by the Easter Bunny, who handed out candy to the eager children who surrounded him moments after arriving.

Young guests then split into two groups — under 10 years old and 10 and up — and scoured the grassy area in front of the resort to find the mini candies scattered about.

“We’ve been doing this since the mid ‘80s,” organizer Mark Meador said. “Most of the kids here are third generation.”
