As Rabbi Michael Churgel welcomed congregants and guests to Temple Sinai on April 10 for the temple's annual community Seder, he noted the variety of communities represented.
Families visiting their Sarasota residents from as far away as California were welcomed to the traditional Jewish meal, which marks the beginning of Passover.
Rabbi Churgel said the attendance reflected the call to Passover that "all who are hungry please come and eat."
"So this is a blessed time," Rabbi Churgel said. "When we invite all family members to be a part of this."
