FRIDAY, April 1

The Riverview boys and girls lacrosse teams will close out their inaugural regular season in the Ram Bowl when they play host to Cardinal Mooney. The girls will play at 6 p.m. followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m. 

FRIDAY, April 1 

Four area track teams will look to put their best foot forward during the 6th Annual Marcus Freeman Memorial Invitational, at North Port High. Booker, Cardinal Mooney, Riverview and Sarasota all will be on hand during the 21-team meet, which will begin at 3 p.m. with field at events. 

MONDAY, April 4

Deanna Stevens, Lauren Disalvo and Rachel West will be honored when the Riverview softball team hosts North Port at 7 p.m. for its Senior Night. The game will mark the start of the final week of the regular season, as Riverview prepares for district play the following week. 

TUESDAY, April 5

Two of the areas top teams will hit the diamond when the Sarasota baseball team travels to Braden River at 7 p.m. The Sailors and Pirates both have posted double-digit wins this season and both earned the No. 2 seeds in their respective districts.
