Cedars hosts youth tennis clinic

Cedars Tennis Resort hosted a tennis clinic for students from Sarasota’s Newtown June 22.

Seven students ages 13 to 16 enjoyed a morning of tennis followed by lunch and swimming.

The students are part of a summer camp with Brothers and Sisters Doing the Right Thing.

“We try to expose them to outside a 10-block radius,” said founder Alice Jones. “They’re trying new activities in addition to networking. It’s a positive thing for them.”
