For years the Dimmitt Automotive Group has been stopping in Sarasota for temporary exhibits to showcase and sell its cars.
Now the luxury dealership will have a permanent home downtown with the opening of the Sarasota Studio. Located on the ground floor of the State Street garage, the dealership will offer pre-owned luxury cars.
Some of the pre-owned makes available through the Sarasota Studio include Bentley, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, McLaren and Lamborghini.
"We look forward to being a part of this community," said Scott Larguier, Chief Operating Officer for Dimmitt Automotive Group. " The great advantage here is that we'll now be a permanent presence here in Sarasota and we'll be able to build a relationship with our customers."
The vehicles are competing with the art on the walls for attention. The dealership has partnered with neighboring art dealer State of the Arts Gallery to display artwork.
"It's been really well received," said Liz Manes, Sales and Leasing with Dimmitt Automotive Group. "Our big, white walls are covered and we get to sell their art work. Overall we're here to sell"
There is still a space available for development on the ground level of the State Street garage.
