1 — McKenzie Lantz scored 23 points to lead the Sarasota Christian girls basketball team to a 54-28 victory versus Seacrest Country Day in the Class 2A-Region 3 quarterfinals Feb. 4.

2 — AJ Caldwell and D.J. Bryant combined for 46 points to lead the Riverview boys basketball team to a 79-53 victory versus Tampa Alonso in the Class 8A-District 6 championship Feb. 5.

3 — Abby Wishart went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI to power the Sarasota softball team to a 15-4 victory against rival Riverview Feb. 3.

4 — Sarasota first baseman Nick Long went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBI to help power the Sailors to a 10-5 victory against First Academy Feb. 6.

5 — Riverview’s Antoine Sanchez won his No. 1 singles match before teaming up with Finn Anderson to win at No. 1 doubles, as the Rams boys tennis team swept Braden River 7-0 Feb. 3.
