The holiday boat parade along the Braden River is back.

The “Christmas on the Braden River” boat parade will start at dusk at Jiggs Landing, 6106 63rd St. E., Bradenton, and journey up the river to Linger Lodge Restaurant, 7205 85th Street Ct. E., where they’re expected to arrive around 7 p.m.

Decorated boats and other watercraft should arrive at Jiggs Landing around 5:30 for the parade to start at 6 p.m.

The first parade in 2013 attracted more than 150 spectators at Jiggs Landing.

“Our goal is to continue this ‘Old Florida’ event and just have a good time,” organizer Denise Kleiner said.
