Manatee County closes offices for holiday weekend

Although the county is closing its government offices July 3, other services will still be available Friday, this weekend.

Manatee County today announced closings and schedule changes in observation of the Fourth of July.

Government offices will be closed Friday, July 3.

The Anna Maria Island Trolley and Beach Express service will operate normal hours on Saturday, July 4. But, the Longboat Key Trolley service will be suspended July 4. 

Manatee County’s public libraries will be closed on Friday and Saturday.

Fixed route and para-transit service are suspended Saturday and will resume normal operations on Monday.

G.T. Bray Recreation Center will be open Friday, but closed Saturday.

Manatee County parks and beaches will be open to the public, and golf courses will also remain open. And, trash and recycling collections will maintain their normal schedule for residents in unincorporated Manatee.
