Temple Emanu-El families splashed into Lakewood Ranch during their annual "Splash Shabbat".
Parents and children met at Central Park's splash park to have fun during the summer months. Temple Emanu-El holds the event every year, said Rabbi Elaine Glickman, but this year a parent suggested the Lakewood Ranch location as a fun way to change up the usual routine. The event was sponsored by Temple Emanu-El and the Jewish Confederation of Sarasota-Manatee.
After a prayer over bagels, kids dug into some food before running back to the splash pad for more fun.
