Monsters defend their turf

Four Manasota Monsters lacrosse teams won championships at the annual Rippin’ at the Ranch lacrosse tournament June 27 and June 28, at the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch.

Four Manasota Monsters lacrosse teams won championships at the annual Rippin’ at the Ranch lacrosse tournament June 27 and June 28, at the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch. 

Nearly 50 of the top teams from across the state, ranging in age from U9 to high school, participated in this year’s tournament. 

The Monsters U9 (5-0), U11 (6-0), U13 A (6-0) and U15 (6-0) all won their respective divisions. The Monsters U13 B team went 3-1-1 to finish third in Group 3.

The Pasco Lions’ U15 team finished third in Group 2.
