Do you enjoy face paint, costumes, props and scaring strangers on Halloween?

Now is your chance to spook your neighbors and friends.

The Lakewood Ranch Community Activities Corp. is seeking individuals to fill its haunted house at Boo Fest, from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 30 at Premier Sports Campus.

The group needs 12 volunteers for its monster mash of frightening zombies, witches, warlocks or other spooky characters.

Volunteers will also help create scenes, characters, sounds and other chilling aspects of the haunted house, which LWRCAC Director Kyann Merrill anticipates to be the biggest Boo Fest, yet.

The annual event's former venue, Lakewood Ranch Main Street, didn't have as much parking space as the new location.

"We anticipate having more people than ever before," Merrill said. "So, we're really looking for fresh faces to help make this the scary haunted house that people expect it to be."

Call 757-1530 for more information.
