+ Dude, where's my bike?

3 p.m., April 27 / 1400 block of Main St.

Suspicion general / unknown

A man called the police to his location to report that he had just recovered the bicycle that had been missing for five days.

The bike was chained and locked to a light pole, and he had the key to unlock it. The man said he hadn't reported the bike stolen, but he just wanted to make a report that he recovered it.

Suspicious vehicle

While driving on Beneva, a man began to suspect that the white work van tailgating him was following him. The van honked its horn and nearly sideswiped him.

When he pulled into a grocery store, he came out to find the van circling the parking lot, so he waited until it left and called the police.

+ Write-off

Midnight., April 27 / 1800 block of 19th St.

Criminal mischief

A woman noticed writing marker on her car door, and suspected her neighbors did it, since she regularly calls the police on them.

None of her neighbors were home, and there was no evidence that they did it. Police told her the marker would probably wash off and to call back if new information comes up.
