School revitalizes arts with showcase

Students held signs with the words "Save Our Art," etched on them in marker. April 21, Lakewood Ranch High School showcased its fine arts programs, such as jazz band, orchestra, choir and the painted and sketched pieces of the school's artists at the Academy of the Arts Spring Showcase. Proceeds from the artwork sold and the snacks available at the concession stand in the auditorium benefited the East County school's art programs.
