The Sarasota Young Professionals Group and S-One Holdings transformed Palm Avenue into a full-fledged battle of the bands Saturday, Oct. 11. Six bands competed for a chance to win $1,500 as well as $3,500 to donate to a music department at a school of their choice. Rock group Seven Years Past took first place, donating their money to Riverview High School.
